The company specializes in the transportation of heavy equipment and construction materials. Service is mainly provided to equipment dealers,contractors and manufacturers. The company services the entire State of Florida, ninety percent of the revenue is generated in the southern region of Florida. All the heavy equipment transported is by company owned trucks & trailers. Most of the material delivered by flatbed is accomplished by the employment of owner/operators using company trailers. The company has been in business for 60 years. The land that is used for the operation is owned by the company. The land includes a 2,000 SF maintenance shop, a 2,500 SF office building and enough open land to park trucks, trailers and parking for employees. There is alsoanother building on the property which is not part of the lease. The seller will give the new owners a 5 yr. lease at $6,183 a month with a option on the property for $3.1 M. On the 2006 tax return there is a special deduction of $76,874 which would bring the net down from $110,167 to $33,293. A new owner would not have this loss. On the 2006 tax we keep the $76,874 off the financials.
